About Us

Here at First Baptist Campobello we have a vision of “Loving God, Loving Others, and Serving for the Glory of God.” Let me take a moment to tell you why we have this vision.

When Jesus was asked about the Greatest Commandment, He responded by saying: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it; Love your neighbor as yourself.” These words of Jesus found in Matthew 22:37-39 tell us that Loving God and Loving Others are the two most important things that we can do in this life. As individuals, we must seek to love God by spending time with Him each and every day. We need to spend time with God in His Word and in prayer.  As a church family we love God by coming together to worship Him. 

Our church is a family. As family members we seek to love others by being there to encourage one another as we live out our faith. We pray for one another, support one another, teach one another, and live our lives in community together. 

Jesus Christ set us a great example by having a servant’s heart. He made it clear to His followers that He expects us all to be servants, just like He was while He lived on this earth. He has given us instructions to follow His example. As a church family we seek to serve others so that we can bring glory to God in all that we do.
